Wotofo Profile RDTA Preview

Today we check out one new RDA from wotofo, named it Profile, which is designed by Joel Robinson, who is 9 years vaper. The Wotofo Profile 1.5 RDA is the latest rendition of the very popular Profile Mesh RDA. 

The Wotofo cooperate with Mr.JustRight1 again for the second RDA in Wotofo Profile series. The wotofo RDA with compact structure, the diameter is 24mm, height only 32.5mm. 6 different colors available. it comes with the resin 810 drip tip, stainless steel tube with engraving.

The overall construction of the Wotofo Profile 1.5 RDA is similar to the original Wotofo Profile. The kit comes with 2 drip-tips, the second 810 is much lower in height, and also has a beveled top end, which is comfortable but it feels a little short leaving your lips touching the top-cap.

The pre-installed 510 pin is surrounded by a German PEEK Insulator. The Wotofo Profile 1.5 RDA is suitable for most box mods but is primarily designed for a squonk mod.

The inside wide clamped posts building deck allow it compatible with all kinds of coils, large coils, small coils or mesh coils. to help best install the mesh coil, wotofo put the bending tool in the package, so vapers can use it for shaping and fine-tuning the mesh wire to heat evenly. the wotofo profile RDA with spring-loaded ceramic support at the center of the deck to ensure effective contact between mesh coil and organic cotton, no burnt hits.

There are three mesh strips included in the box:

• nexMESH CHILL A1 0.15 ohm, rated for 60-80 watts
• nexMESH TURBO A1 0.13 ohm, rated for 60-80 watts
• nexMESH EXTREME A1 0.16 ohm, rated for 60-80 watts

The 3 mesh strips are supposed to perform differently, but the difference are not obvious.

Pros:

Great build quality

The O-ring tolerances are perfect

The much thinner top cap for a larger build deck

The redesigned ceramic piece helps wick from getting mushed

Much easier to build and wick compared to the original Profile

Can also be used with regular coils

Three available mesh strip options

Wide range of power: 60 to 80W

Smoother and more adjustable airflow

Excellent flavor with the top row closed

Less chance of dry hit than original Profile

Cons:

Fully open airflow sacrifices flavor

The top cap warms up quickly

Offset airflow when top and bottom are partly closed

No TC-compatible mesh strip

A little bit wobbly due to the long locking notch

Need to drip frequently if not used as a squonk mod

The low profile drip tip is not suited to this RDA

Overall, the Wotofo Profile 1.5 RDA is better than the original Profile. If you want to test the different mesh coils, we recommend vapers order the mesh wire and design the mesh coils by yourself.
