Ivanka Trump Tried to Order Some Jewelry and This Brand Was Like "Girl, Bye"

Ivanka Trump casually placed a jewelry order from Brooklyn-based label Lady Grey, only to find an extra gift in the packaging. Indie designers Jill Martinelli and Sabine Le Guyader hit her with a whammy: a handwritten note that explained just what the duo did with her money from the transaction.
Dear Ivanka, Thank you so much for your order! We're happy to let you know that the proceeds of your sale have been generously donated to The American Immigration Council, the Everytown For Gun Safety Organization, and the Hillary Clinton Campaign. We hope you enjoy your new Lady Grey #helixearcuff.
While Ivanka's box came complete with a bow, and we're sure her jewels were pristine, the message is loud and clear: Lady Grey is one fashion label that doesn't support Donald Trump or his policies. While Ivanka has remained relatively quiet on her own political views, she has been involved in the Trump campaign and spoke at the Republican National Convention, so it's not a stretch that the designers associate her ideals with those of her father's.
"When we received her order, we instantly felt compelled to take the money and donate it to a few organizations that were more aligned with our ideals . . . We strongly feel that everyone and anyone can make a difference through actively supporting the causes that they believe in, no matter how big or small," they explained to Refinery29 when asked about their actions.
