Augvape Intake Dual RTA Preview

Mike Vapes and Augvape have collaborated again, this time to make the Intake Dual RTA.

Design

The Intake Dual is identical in appearance, except it’s a little bigger at 26mm and the indents around the top cap appear to be smoother. The indents along the top cap are smooth and look good. There are two large kidney-style fill ports and they make filling this tank a breeze. There’s also a silicone guard on the underside of the top cap to prevent any leaking.

Capacity

It comes pre-installed with a straight glass that will hold 4.2ml of ejuice. It also comes with a bubble glass that will hold 5.8ml of eliquid. This tank still looks slim and beautiful with the bubble glass so once I put it on, I never went back to the straight glass.

Airflow

The Intake Dual has two airflow slots at the top of the tank. They’re fully adjustable and can even be closed down all the way. The airflow control ring works on a stopper and is a little stiff but it’s still not too difficult to adjust.

Deck & Flavor

To make this an even better flavor RTA, the Intake Dual also has a large domed chimney that encapsulates your coils and narrows near the top to further concentrate the flavor.

The deck on the Intake Dual is really easy to use. It’s a postless deck with four terminals. There are wicking ports on either side of the deck as well as two large semi-circle shaped posts. The entire deck is clean and precisely machined. 

The intake vents better. Instead of two circular pipes that funneled air underneath your coil, this takes the air directly to the sides. It’s a shorter travel for the airflow, and actually it's a better design.

Let’s see how the Freemax Twister 30W Kit performs.

Measuring in 122mm x 78.3mm, the kit sits in the hand comfortably with the size making for easy carrying in your pocket or bag.

The Twister 30W is very responsive and the wattage seems accurate as of the original Twister 80W. It is simple to use. A simple twist of the base adjusts the wattage, which increases in 2.5 watts. No complicated menu system, no fighting with how to handle it. The instant you press the fire button the coil is going to heat up, it is an impressively fast ramp up!

The sub-ohm tank from Freemax doesn’t disappoint in flavor and vapor production over the past year.The flavor is first-class from both variants of coils. The cloud production is massive, nice thick bellowing cloud, you’ll hotbox a small room in a few puffs. I have tried a few different juices over the last week, both coils show no signs of a drop in flavor or vapor production.

I have to say, these tea fiber mesh coils did provide a super smooth vape with fully adjustable airflow control. For me, I prefer the 1.5ohm coil as it provides an airy MTL draw with a wide-open airflow.

The overall construction of the Wotofo Profile 1.5 RDA is similar to the original Wotofo Profile. The kit comes with 2 drip-tips, the second 810 is much lower in height, and also has a beveled top end, which is comfortable but it feels a little short leaving your lips touching the top-cap.

The pre-installed 510 pin is surrounded by a German PEEK Insulator. The Wotofo Profile 1.5 RDA is suitable for most box mods but is primarily designed for a squonk mod.

The inside wide clamped posts building deck allow it compatible with all kinds of coils, large coils, small coils or mesh coils. to help best install the mesh coil, wotofo put the bending tool in the package, so vapers can use it for shaping and fine-tuning the mesh wire to heat evenly. the wotofo profile RDA with spring-loaded ceramic support at the center of the deck to ensure effective contact between mesh coil and organic cotton, no burnt hits.

There are three mesh strips included in the box:

• nexMESH CHILL A1 0.15 ohm, rated for 60-80 watts
• nexMESH TURBO A1 0.13 ohm, rated for 60-80 watts

The Valyrian II mod has some limitations in regard to temperature control, most notably only including a preset for SS904L. 

That’s it. If you want to use temperature control on say, nickel or titanium, you’re going to be S.O.L. Not actually though, since the mod does include TCR adjustments, meaning you’ll have to enter the information in yourself without relying on a preset. While this may not be a huge deal for experience temp control users, beginners will certainly be turned off by this.

It’s an incredibly short and compact mod for running on triple 18650s. With that smaller chassis, you also get a really ergonomic take on the classic triple battery mod shape. 

You get some nice aesthetics and an attractive finish if you’re into a more glossy appearance. And, this might be a given, but you get ridiculous battery life which can definitely last you all day long at roughly 100W.

A main focus is the design of the Airflow, which can be adjusted to an external, infinitely adjustable on the ground and on the other hand has beveled, internal ventilation holes, whereby the airflow centered on the windings, from which both the taste and the steam production benefit.

The existing Pyrex glass tank, with a 3ml filling volume, can be exchanged for a 5ml tube as needed. Refilling is done quickly via Top filling. In addition, there are two different types of Drip Tips (Resin / Delrin), which can be replaced as the mood takes you.  Smoant Ladon Kit has a tank and a separate mod. 

A look at content

Looking at the mod now – this uses dual 18650 batteries which are not included in the kit. There are multiple power options including VW, Temperature control and TCR and your vaping data is displayed on the screen.

You can adjust the output from 1-225W. Controlling all the functions is the ANT AI Smart chip.

At the top, we have that raised 510 connection I mentioned before, with the same etched channels we saw on the Smoant Charon Mini. It has a gold-plated, spring-loaded 510 pin and accommodated atomizers up to 25mm in diameter without any overhang.

The front panel of the Smoant Ladon looks a lot like a tape recorder or a mini portable radio, mainly because of the plastic decoration that closely resembles the cover of a speaker. it's purpose if only decorative, although I will admit that it has a very nice texture as well.

Right under the display are the + and – buttons which are presented by a conspicuous red line, which matches the red, rectangular fire button on one of the narrow sides of the mod, near the top. These are the only red elements on this mod, and they kind of stick out like two sore thumbs, but I rather like the look of the Ladon. The buttons are nice and clicky as well.

First of all, the whole structure design is totally different from the others. Rectangle shape design with giant pod cartridge both make you change your perspective on pod kits from now on.

Freemax Maxus Kit Preview

The Freemax Maxus 100W Starter Kit consists of the new Maxus 100W mod plus the Fireluke 3 / M Pro 2 tank! Exciting stuff as I loved the Fireluke 2 tank included in the Twister kit plus the original Fireluke Mesh was a beauty!

It is a proper box mod and sub-ohm tank release – woohoo!

Looking first at the mod – this is powered by a single battery and you can use 21700, 20700 or 18650 (with included adaptor).

This mod also has “Smartload Tech” which is apparently a system which means the mod will work fine whichever way you install the battery – it is not dependent on the polarity being correct.

You have variable wattage, Temperature Control, TCR, Bypass and custom curve user modes.

Output wise the mod will output a maximum of 100W which I assume is with the larger battery choice.

Moving onto the Fireluke 3 sub ohm tank (or M Pro 2 as they are calling it on their social media pages?) There have been some updates to the second version including steel balls added to the slide to open top fill cap. This should create more restriction in the cap movement and hopefully avoid emptying the tank by accident in a bag or pocket.

Some new coils are included in the kit which is made from SS904L mesh. The tank is also compatible with the V1 and V2 Fireluke Mesh coils.

You get the 0.2ohm 904L X2 (dual) Mesh and 0.15ohm 904L X1 (single) Mesh coils in the kit. There are also 0.5ohm X2 (dual), 0.15ohm X3 (Triple) and 0.15ohm X4 (Quad) Mesh coils available.

Finally, I have to admit I am quite excited about this, I love Freemax tanks and the cross-compatibility with the older coil ranges makes this really versatile!

What's new about SMOK Alike Kit?

I'd like to say Smok Alike Pod Mod Kit is a fairly deluxe and gentle device in my first impression.

Smok Alike has the same components as the SMOK Fetch series, however, they are actually different for the decorative leather on both sides.

So what're the unique features of Alike Pod Mod kit? The answer is this kit has become much tougher and stronger than it used to be. Dustproof, IPX7 waterproof, and, shockproof.

Configurations

On the left side of Smok Alike Pod Mod Kit, you can see square fire button, 0.96" color screen display, and adjustment buttons. And the USB charging port is on the bottom which is covered with a rubber plug to make the security of dustproof and waterproof.

Functions

Driven by an internal 1600mAh battery, it's not big but it's fairly enough to use for more than one day. The output range is from 5w to 40w.

Pod Cartridge Part

There's only one pod cartridge included in the packaging-Smok RPM Pod. So, it's only suitable for RPM coil series.

Meanwhile, there's a total of 7 RPM coil heads you can choose from, including an RBA coil. As always, you have two replacement coils in the package. RPM DC 0.8ohm MTL coil and RPM Mesg 0.4ohm coil.

It's a pity that the airflow on this Alike Pod Mod Kit is unadjustable. Whereas, there're two air inlets on the pod cartridge to ensure you enough airflow. In addition. if you're an MTL vaper, switch to another MTL coil and change another 510 drip tip maybe help you with it.

From the first impression, it looks pretty darn nice.

The Cold Steel 100 is driven by a single 20700, 21700 or 18650 battery. It also have a lot more modes: Power, Bypass, Temperature Control, Variable Voltage and Custom Curves.The name might have you thinking that it only fires up to 100W, it actually goes up to 120W!

Made of Stainless Steel + Brass + Zinc Alloy so it’s a bit on the hefty side. Weighing 178grams, which makes the mod feel a lot more solid and unbreakable.


Unluckily, OLED screen on it is small. It's a little difficult for users to read the data, especially those with poor eyesight. But thanks to it's OLED, so it’s surprisingly bright and clear.

The major reason most vapers like it is that it’s really comfortable to hold. It just fits in hand kindly, whether you use your index or your thumb the fire button is in the perfect position to press.
